The DXR2 Beamline operates with UV radiation on an extended spectral range from 120 nm to 650 nm (2-10 eV). The experimental apparata, installed at the end of the branch line, allow to work with the white beam and monochromatic radiation to perform many kind of measurements like reflectivity, absorption, scattering, detector calibration, etc. The UV light can be used in many and different research fields from biological to R&D for high energy physics experiments, to study solar-blind UV detectors or UV aging effects on memory foam used as shock-absorbing foam also in space missions.
